Is it time to get unstuck?

Greetings friends,

It’s here! Today is the New Moon Eclipse at the final degrees of Aries. In short, this is big.

This eclipse is square Pluto in Aquarius, conjunct Vesta, the asteroid representing our spiritual and physical hearth fires, and comes just days before Mercury goes retrograde in Taurus.

Eclipses often help us unstick things that have been stuck or undo things that need to be undone. New Moon eclipses tend to illuminate outside realities that help us clarify our internal vision. This eclipse will be especially potent if you have planets or angles around the end of Aries, Cancer, Libra, or Capricorn, or in the early degrees of Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, or Aquarius.

I am gentle when I work with eclipse energy. This is a great time for meditation and journalling, but I don’t recommend strong intention setting or manifestation work. See what shows up over the next few weeks rather than trying to force an agenda.

What about Mercury retrograde in the mix? Mercury retrogrades get a bad rap for breaking appliances and messing up travel. But retrogrades are sort of like winter, a time to slow down and rest before the growing season begins again. That is why it is especially important to be receptive right now. If you start something during a retrograde, it often gets reversed or never gets off the ground. Look at your Taurus house and where Mercury is in your natal chart to see where the retrograde is showing up for you.
