Is this the Age of Aquarius?
Pluto entered Aquarius on Tuesday. Does that mean we are in the Age of Aquarius?
The short answer is: maybe. But perhaps not for the reasons you might think.
An Age doesn’t have anything to do with the number of planets in a sign. An Age is defined by where the Sun is in the sky on the March Equinox. Ages last about 2,150 years, far longer than any planet is in a given sign. That makes it hard to precisely tell when one age ends and the next begins. Big transitions like this are messy and bleed into one another. 100 years or so from now, we might be able to say for sure, but right now, we are too close to it to call it.
